Free Agents are a grassroots effort running almost entirely on belief that this work matters, that truth deserves a platform and that communities deserve to hear directly from those with lived experience.

Right now, we are self-funding an awareness-raising community art car tour, stretching every dollar and, frankly, stretching ourselves by setting aside our own basic needs to make sure this happens. Because it has to happen.

Your contribution makes a direct difference:

Even a small donation goes immediately toward travel costs for the tour such as fuel, logistics, and getting us to the communities that need to hear this most. Since each stop on the tour is a city where Free Agents live, your contributions directly support both the coming together of Free Agents who consistently offer one another mutual care and support and the awareness raising efforts of sharing our messages with others via our community art project.

More substantial support opens doors to deeper work: truth, healing, and reconciliation efforts with people who have been harmed and are currently navigating recovery with little to no support. It could also help bring one of our publications or artistic projects to life, work we’ve envisioned and are ready to create, but lack the capacity to realize without your help.

You don’t have to give money to give meaningfully.

Artists, writers, organizers, and community members can contribute in ways that are just as vital: offering writing support, guest authoring a blog post, connecting us with your audience, or inviting us to speak at your event as the voice of relationally just partnerships with people who have been impacted by public systems.
